Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Associate in Maryland to support a wide range of mechanical maintenance activities. The role expects hands-on work with a variety of tools, routine troubleshooting, and proactive equipment care on a first-shift schedule.

You will perform calibrations, adjustments, and minor repairs to keep production lines running smoothly, while observing safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with mechanical troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical tools.
• Perform routine operating functions and troubleshooting on all equipment.
• Repair damaged equipment back to good working order by applying mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate or adjust equipment to meet production specs.
• Advertise to managers the need for major repairs or additions to building systems.
• Paint various surfaces as required while following safety procedures.
• Adhere to all OSHA standards.
