Job summary

Marvin in Fargo, ND is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for day shifts to troubleshoot production equipment, perform inspections, and support machine repairs with minimal supervision.

You will set up new equipment, read blueprints, operate basic machining tools, and document work in the EAM system while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years related maintenance experience.
• Able to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.
• Proficient with EAM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Associate degree in a related-technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment and assist in machine repairs as well as train others in machine repairs.
• Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
• Set up of new equipment; troubleshoot equipment-using specialty tools-and make decisions on most effective repair of equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and light repairs on production equipment, assist in machine repairs, and perform daily housekeeping in work areas.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status, as well as email end of shift reports daily.
• Perform basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and a lathe.
• Interpret blueprints and part drawing to perform maintenance task.
• Must have basic understanding of welding and fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
