Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery at our Texas operation.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, inspect equipment, support installation and repair of components, and follow safety procedures while contributing to continuous improvement in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and bearings.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, drawings, and safety procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Capability to work independently and effectively in a production-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
