Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine, preventative, and corrective work on plant equipment and machinery. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues to restore operations safely and minimize downtime while inspecting systems for reliability and improvement opportunities.

The role requires following safety procedures, supporting installation and alignment of components, and contributing to continuous improvement in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and bearings.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, drawings, and safety procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Capable of working independently in a production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check


• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
