Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our team. The role entails maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to support safe, efficient operations at North American sites.

You will inspect crushers, conveyors, motors, pumps, and other machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to maximize reliability while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Plant Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
