Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on master mechanic to oversee our plant floor, lead maintenance crews, and troubleshoot complex machinery. You will use engineering-level thinking to repair, rebuild, and fabricate on the spot while driving downtime reduction and safety on the shop floor.

Expect to perform preventative maintenance, interpret blueprints and fluid diagrams, and log work in our CMMS. A mechanical engineering background is a plus, no degree required, 8am-4pm shift.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and fluid power diagrams.
• Mechanical engineering background a plus.
• Capable of leading crews and autonomous shop management.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and servicing on production machinery.
• Upgrade machines and improve the floor with innovative ideas.
• Lubricate bearings, replace seals, and adjust drive belts.
• Monitor equipment with vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
• Calibrate gauges and safety devices.
• Diagnose system failures using diagnostic tools.
