Job summary

Advance Services, Inc. seeks a General Maintenance Mechanic to improve the reliability of plant equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment rebuilding across assigned areas.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with SAP, blueprints, and welding (TIG, MIG, SMAW). You will read diagrams and operate machine shop tools as part of daily work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance mechanic experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and SMAW.
• Ability to safely use machine shop tools and rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, dismantle, inspect, and rebuild industrial equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and routine equipment inspections.
• Verify repairs and confirm that issues have been resolved, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Use SAP to enter maintenance notifications, document work orders, record maintenance activities, and identify required repairs, parts, and material.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production and maintenance schedules.
