Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Machine Operator 1 in Jasper, TN. This is a training position to learn extrusion lines and produce vinyl siding products, with a 2-2-3 day shift and a focus on quality assurance and process improvement.

Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with benefits beginning on day one and 80 hours of vacation. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and learning to operate related equipment on the line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of related production experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of machine mechanics.
• Must have good mechanical aptitude and above average math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn to verify equipment status on the line per start-up checklist.
• Maintain extruder settings and peripherals to meet product specs.
• Perform quality assurance tests to determine product quality.
• Notify Supervisory personnel of deviations for prompt correction.
• Assist with troubleshooting and communicate with maintenance.
