Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Jasper, TN seeks a Production Associate to blend materials into extrusion compounds and ensure material consistency across batches. Training may include using computer systems and multiple programs.

You will document output, restock supplies, and operate a forklift while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Working in a manufacturing plant, you’ll contribute to safety programs and meet production standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 90 days proficiency in a computer automated environment and material handling.
• Must read, write, and perform basic math; blender 1 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate blending machinery to produce extrusion compounds.
• Maintain consistency of raw materials batch to batch.
• Monitor blend network and adjust for output quality.
• Record blend data into BPCS and production spreadsheets.
• Stage, stock micoin ingredients, restock hoppers and totes.
• Operate forklift and perform safety inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist maintenance.
• Ensure safe, clean work area and proper paperwork.
