Job summary

Bigelow Tea in Boise, ID is hiring an Operator/Packer for a day shift (Mon-Thu 5:30am-4:00pm) to operate packaging lines and ensure proper codes and materials. You will monitor production, un-jam conveyors, and report issues to maintenance, with cross-department support as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 0-3 months related experience, and strong verbal/written communication, basic math, and safety adherence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust teabag machines and case packers to ensure proper output.
• Ensure correct date code and materials are located in the designated area by inspection.
• Monitor machine to SOP, un-jam conveyors, and restart as required.
• Identify basic machinery problems and report to maintenance.
• Replenish materials and monitor scrap/rejects.
• Pack finished cartons per configuration and rotate as needed.
• Follow GMPs and food safety procedures; comply with safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
