Job summary

Graham Packaging in Mason, Ohio, is seeking a Machine Operator I for the DAY SHIFT (6:48am–7pm) on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. The role involves operating multiple labeling and palletizing lines, performing changeovers, and ensuring safe, high-quality production of containers.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance and overtime when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for internal/external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.

• Team-oriented, proactive collaboration and helping others.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cold Glue Labeling machines, Dunnage palletizing equipment, strapping and wrapping lines safely and efficiently.
• Enforce safety, health, GMP policies and company procedures.
• Assist with mold, insert and color changes and perform minor changeovers.
• Load slip sheets into palletizer and maintain equipment.
• Perform quality checks and coordinate line support with supervisors.
• Assist maintenance and other operators; perform preventative maintenance.
• Document work in an orderly, timely manner and train new staff.
• Limited travel may be required.
