Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator I for the night shift in Mason, Ohio. The role operates plastic blow molding machines on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule and includes safety, quality, and continuous improvement responsibilities.

The operator will perform basic setup, adjustments, and documentation while maintaining high standards of efficiency and teamwork. Benefits begin day one, with holidays and PTO, and potential for growth within the Blue Culture.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Proficiency with standard computer software and typing.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple plastic blow molding machines and inline equipment safely.
• Adjust or repair minor issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Follow safety, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Support continuous quality improvement projects as assigned.
• Perform basic machine setup, mold changes, and color changes.
• Conduct basic processing adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Document production activities timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with shift supervisor and production staff for line objectives.
• Provide training support to new operators as needed.
• Limited travel may be required.
