Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator for its Fremont, OH operation. The role involves operating multiple plastic blow molding machines on a 2,2,3 12-hour schedule and performing routine maintenance while ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

The Operator will follow GMP and company policies, participate in continuous improvement, and support line changes. A minimum of 2 years in manufacturing is required, with reliable attendance and strong communication skills essential for

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing experience.
• Regular attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently within prescribed routines and practices.
• Strong collaboration and willingness to help others as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a number of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Follow and enforce all safety, health, quality GMP and company policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and related activities.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line as needed.
• Perform basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in training new Operators and support maintenance when required.
