Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Machine Operator to run manual and automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Florida. You will perform setup, preventive maintenance, and ensure product quality, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 65 lbs, and flexibility to work a 6am–4pm schedule with potential overtime. GardenCore offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of safety principles such as lock-out/tag-out
• Ability to sit for extended periods and stand for long durations
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and detect malfunctions
• Operate equipment to meet quality, cost and schedule targets
• Notify management of production, safety, quality or environmental concerns
• Understand bagging specifications and meet quality standards
• Daily cleanup of production area and accurate completion of production forms
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
