Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health partner Emerus is hiring a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in Keller, TX. The LVN provides safe, compassionate nursing care under a RN, following the patient’s plan of care and state nurse practice act.

Role requires two years of LVN/LPN experience in acute care, active LVN/LPN license, and current BLS and ACLS certification. English fluency and PA clearances may be required. Day shift, full-time with the facility's standard policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or G.E.D and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Experience: Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting.
• Licenses/registrations: Current LVN/LPN license in the practicing state; BLS and ACLS certified; Pedagogy IV certification within 30 days of hire.
• English fluency required (written and spoken).
• Clearances: PA Act 33 and Act 73 completed or to be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Performs focused patient assessments and documents care accurately.
• Administers medications per policy and plan of care.
• Communicates with patients and families and collaborates with care team.
• Maintains infection control, patient privacy, and a safe work environment.
