Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform lubrication, cleaning and preventive maintenance on fixed equipment, including conveyors, screens, and a blending tunnel.

You will conduct routine inspections for wear and leaks, maintain accurate service logs and communicate status to maintenance and operations teams, assist with basic repairs, and follow all site safety procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to safely service and maintain heavy industrial equipment in a surface mine or industrial setting
• Working knowledge of lubrication systems, conveyor systems, and preventative maintenance practices
• Strong commitment to safety with the ability to follow surface mining regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while supporting a team
• Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to equipment care

Responsibilities

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
