Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on quarry and plant equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and safely install and repair machinery.

You will work with a team to keep equipment reliable, document maintenance activities, and comply with safety policies. Starting pay and benefits are competitive; the role requires physical stamina and adherence to PPE and safety standards.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and reach in a physically demanding industrial setting.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance.

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven terrain.

Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate tools and inspect equipment.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Starting pay $24.25 per hour DOe (depending on experience)
