Qualifications

• Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Active CPR certification.
• Computer word processing and database experience required.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend Resident Care conferences and maintain Resident Care Plans with accuracy.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders; replace expired meds.
• Document resident care issues and report to appropriate personnel.
• Recognize signs and symptoms and determine appropriate treatment or procedures.
• Provide supervision to ancillary personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
