Job summary

Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts in a part-time role. Responsibilities include organizing and directing resident care, medication administration, and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications include 1 year in long-term care preferred, IV certification preferred, English proficiency, and computer word processing skills.

Qualifications

• One year of long-term care experience preferred.
• One year of experience supervising and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Must have computer word processing and database experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend Resident Care conferences and maintain accurate care plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders; manage medication orders and replacements as needed.
• Document patient care issues and report them to relevant personnel.
• Identify signs and symptoms and select appropriate treatments or procedures.
• Supervise and direct ancillary personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
