Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a licensed practical nurse.
• CPR certification is required.
• Two years of long-term care nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state nursing regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to document and communicate effectively with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans.
• Make rounds with a physician to observe symptoms and adjust care.
• Provide preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications according to policy and physician orders.
• Document in PCC and maintain medical records.
• Monitor and assist CNAs with resident care duties.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents and complete summaries.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and plan of correction.
• Ensure safety and maintain residents' rights.
