Job summary

Thisiscny is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide individualized patient care aligned with the plan of care and standards of practice. You will report changes to the RN, administer medications, monitor vital signs, draw blood, and assist with EKGs in a hands-on nursing environment.

Current NY LPN licensure and CPR certification are required, with a preference for 1 year post-licensure nursing experience. Work days/evenings/eow/holidays are available.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license and registration as required by NYS Education Department.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers care that is individualized and consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice.
• Reports to RN any change in patient condition.
• Performs medication administration, obtains vital signs, draws blood, and assists with EKGs.
• Fosters team building and integrates new staff into the unit.
