Hope Network is seeking a Day Lead Janitor to supervise daily janitorial operations at multiple sites in Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead staff, ensure cleanliness, safety, and contract compliance while supporting payroll, inspections, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in janitorial services with demonstrated results.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, equipment and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills; ability to complete documentation, inspections and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support janitorial operations to ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety and contract standards.
• Prepare and utilize cleaning solutions per established specs; perform cleaning tasks including restroom sanitation and floor care.
• Monitor building security and safety; conduct site inspections and report issues.
• Coordinate payroll, inspections, reporting and document submissions as part of administration.
• Train and develop staff and ensure reliable attendance to support operations.
