Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC. is seeking a Janitorial Crew Lead in Grand Rapids, MI to supervise daily janitorial operations and ensure tasks are completed to standards.

You will lead a small crew, coordinate with the client, train new hires, monitor safety practices, and support supervisors in shift execution. This is a full-time role with 2PM-10:30PM or 10PM-6:30AM shifts and starting pay of $20/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents and chemical sheets.
• Ability to follow OSHA guidelines and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure Crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities.
• Coordinate daily operations and resolve deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team has information/tools to do their jobs effectively; support team success.
• May assist with interviews and training; lead by example.
• Motivate the crew and provide ongoing support to team members.
