Job summary

KBS is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead in Nashville, TN to supervise on-site janitorial crews and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently. You will interact with the client, coordinate tasks, train new hires, and support the supervisor to maintain clean, safe facilities.

Starting pay is $16.75 per hour with daytime shifts 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. KBSPresence timekeeping and compliance with safety standards are integral to the role. Previous lead experience in janitorial operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions in English (Spanish where required).
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with positive demeanor to support client requests.
• KBSPresence timekeeping app usage for attendance and training.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed on site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure crew understand responsibilities under each policy.
• Collaborate to ensure daily operations run smoothly and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Provide information and tools for team success; offer support and guidance.
• May assist with interviews and training.
• Lead by example and motivate the crew with clear communication.
