Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo in Milford, CT is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain stock levels, receive and issue inventory, and keep accurate records. Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a pay rate of $19–$21 per hour. Candidates should be attentive, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.

The role emphasizes safety, data accuracy, and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely replenishment and ongoing audits. Forklift operation and Sage experience are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be familiar with common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift operator.
• Experience using Sage software is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Update inventory databases and maintain accurate documentation.
• Review reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and stock movements.
• Assist in organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
• Support audits as needed.
• Safely operate material handling equipment while adhering to all incident and accident reporting procedures.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and Kaizen/5S protocols, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
