Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock records and support warehouse operations in Milford, OH. You will count, store, and issue inventory while using data systems to ensure precise documentation and timely replenishment.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role requires forklift proficiency, data entry skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with benefits and safety-focused processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in inventory or warehouse preferred.
• Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator.
• Must have experience using computers for data entry.
• Previous experience with Sage a plus.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Update inventory databases and maintain accurate documentation.
• Review reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and stock movements.
• Assist in organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
• Support audits as needed.
• Safely operate material handling equipment while adhering to all incident and accident reporting procedures.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and Kaizen/5S protocols, ensuring all processes and procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately maintaining and tracking inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and organization of goods, and assisting in the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Pay rate is $19 to $21 per hour
