Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking material handlers for temp-to-hire roles. Shifts include 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m., and 10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. with pay rates of $21, $23, and $25 per hour respectively. Qualifications

• Forklift experience and certification.

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge to do weigh counts.
• Organization skills to get proper parts to assemblers on time.
• Reading and writing skills necessary for making and reading labels.
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Moving material in and out of pallet racks using forklifts.
• Moving needed materials on time to assemblers using a forklift.
• Making labels using MS Word label program.
• Taking waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters.
• Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves as needed.
• Taking special inventory counts for the buyer or planner.
• Packing actuators when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
