Job summary

Hamilton Connections is hiring a Warehouse/Inventory Clerk in Meriden, CT to support receiving, storage and distribution operations. The role requires safe operation of electric pallet jacks and forklifts, accurate cycle counting, and strong attention to detail.

You will communicate with warehouse supervisors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate scheduling, verify freight counts, and maintain inventory records. This is a first shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• What candidates must have: pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Detail oriented and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for damage, discrepancies, or compliance issues.
• Communicate with warehouse supervisors, carriers, and internal teams regarding scheduling and exceptions.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
• Demonstrated experience operating electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify freight counts and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during peak volume periods.
• Using RF scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
