Job summary

Randstad USA invites applications for an Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) in Fort Mill. Hours are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotation. Salary range: $58,240–$66,560 per year.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant machinery (mechanical, electrical up to 480V, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC), rebuild pumps and gearboxes, diagnose electrical issues, and log work orders in CMMS following LOTO/OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Skills with 480V 3-phase electrical systems and reading schematics.
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional failures through trouble shooting methods and make decisions to replace or rebuild failed component.
• Routine maintenance on all equipment: Inspections, filters change, oil change, grease, and document findings.
• Trouble shoot electrical components motor starters, solid state relays, overloads, fuses, safety circuits, motors, solenoids.
• Pneumatic equipment trouble shooting CNC equipment, dust-collection & blow-down devices, solenoids.
• CNC Router troubleshooting, repairs, and programming.
• Powder conveying system; Vacuum pumps, sheave alignment, drive belts, level sensors.
• Communicate with management and corporate maintenance and management team.
• General mechanical Experience
• Maintain awareness of new systems and techniques in order to upgrade existing equipment and processes.
• Follow safety procedures and work carefully at all times to prevent injuries and avoid damage to company property.
• Effectively communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Use of proper lock-out procedure and personal protective equipment.
• Responds to emergency breakdown and repairs which may occur outside operating hours.
