Job summary
Tower Health Reading Hospital is seeking a Day Shift Hospitalist Services Advanced Practice Provider to extend excellent clinical care to our acute adult inpatients. The practitioner will provide comprehensive medical care in collaboration with physicians and staff, including evaluation, treatment, and counseling for patients and families.
Responsibilities include exams, documentation in EMR, ordering tests, prescribing treatments, coordinating referrals, and consulting with the supervising
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania license (PA or NP) and current BLS/ACLS.
- ACLS Certification.
- BLS Certification.
- NCCPA Certification for Physician Assistants.
- AANP or ANCC Certification for Nurse Practitioners.
- PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
- PA Medical Physician Assistant License.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and evaluations; diagnose and treat medical problems.
- Document medical information and maintain electronic medical records.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing with the medical team.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized.
- Request consultations or referrals with other providers.
- Consult and collaborate with supervising physician.
