Job summary

Reading Hospital in Reading, PA is recruiting a Hospitalist to join our Hospitalist Services team. Candidates must be available to start ASAP by early 2027.

This inpatient role coordinates all care for the Adult Medicine Service with a 15-shift monthly schedule, a closed ICU, no procedures, and an average patient load of 15, using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the inpatient Adult Medicine Service.
• Provide flexible schedule options to support hospital operations.
• Work 15 ten-hour shifts per month (including some nights and weekends).
• Operate in a closed ICU environment.
• No procedures required.
• Maintain an average patient load of 15 per shift.
• Document care using EPIC EMR.
