Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs of hospital facilities, equipment, and systems in Burlingame, CA. You will work under the Chief Engineer and support on-site maintenance at Sutter Mills Peninsula Medical Center.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical and electrical tasks, reading and writing simple memos, and safe use of hand tools and painting equipment. Monday–Friday shifts with occasional weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Education required.
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and painting equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic mechanical and electrical experience.
• Monday–Friday, variable days, with occasional weekends.
• 8-hour shift, 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs of hospital-owned buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Work under the direction of the Chief or Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Perform duties primarily on day shifts.
• Support maintenance operations at Sutter Mills Peninsula Medical Center.
