Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Facilities Associate to maintain safety and cleanliness at our hospital facilities. This day-shift role runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, onsite at 66 Blossom Street.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, waste management, event setup, and reporting maintenance needs. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of hospital cleaning experience; strong organization, independent work, and

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Experience: 2–3 years with cleaning equipment/chemicals used in hospitals/healthcare centers
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong organization, independent work but also team-oriented, good communication and comprehension

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and fixtures; replenishes supplies as needed.
• Picks up debris around the building.
• Operates high- and low-speed stripping/buffing machines.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for events and hospital activities.
• Identifies and reports building maintenance needs.
