Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an Environmental Services Aide Level I to maintain a clean, sanitary environment across patient care areas. The role supports infection control efforts and adheres to hospital policies, with a focus on quality patient care and teamwork.

The position is part of a unionized environment with a Monday–Friday evening shift and rotating holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and the successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions required.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Attention to detail and high-quality customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, walls, furnishings and floors to high standards of cleanliness and disinfection.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock expendable items daily and as needed.
• Mop floors, vacuum, collect and transport trash per regulations.
• Maintain entrances and check draperies, blinds and shades.
• Move beds, change linens, and prepare meeting rooms as requested.
• Monitor pager and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Follow safety, infection control and confidentiality policies.
