Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Environmental Services worker to perform cleaning duties across patient rooms and common areas on a 20-hour schedule, 9:00 am–7:30 pm, with onsite duties at 1133 Centre Street. The role requires ability to lift 25–50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and proper chemical handling.

Pay ranges from $18.10 to $24.36 per hour, with comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can understand English to perform tasks

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must understand and converse in English for safe, efficient performance.
• Be able to lift 25–50 pounds.
• Physical demands: stand long periods, bending, stooping, lifting.
• Learn and demonstrate new healthcare procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 8-step cleaning procedures and daily cleaning tasks.
• Discharge cleaning, bed making, and room sanitation.
• Handle waste, spills, and proper chemical usage.
• Assist with office moves and conference room setups as needed.
• Maintain patient room equipment and furniture.
