Job summary

New Tech Global Inc. is seeking a hands-on production associate for a DAY SHIFT in a heavy manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include safety-focused operation of power equipment, core/mold making, and molding processes to form and finish castings.

The role requires heightened attention to detail, willingness to work in high-temperature, loud environments, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On-the-job training is available; overtime on Fridays is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience in pattern shop/storage, core making, molding making, mold closing, induction melting, pouring, shakeout, abrasive blasting, gating & riser removal, grinding, casting inspection or touch-up; on-the-job training available.
• 1+ years' experience operating forklift, overhead crane, frontend loader; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large power equipment and machine tools.
• Core making to form internal surfaces of castings; mold making for external surfaces.
• Mold closing, pouring, melting and shakeout of castings; sand reclamation and pattern storage assistance.
• Castings inspection and touch-up; maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures; operate equipment including forklifts, cranes, and loaders as required.
• Assist with sand reclamation, pattern storage, and casting touch-ups as needed.
• Contribute to safe and efficient daily operations across foundry departments.
