Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Gilroy, CA. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm with overtime as needed, pay starting at $25/hr and up based on experience. The role involves forklift operation, pallet building, and order preparation using RF devices.

Candidate should have 1+ years warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and DOT medical card. Must be 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must have, acquire, or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn systems quickly.
• Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident-free.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• May perform back-up driving duties when needed.
