Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for 1st shift to join our Purina Animal Nutrition warehousing team. Day shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM with weekends/overtime/holidays as needed, supporting inbound/outbound deliveries and final-product staging.

You will operate a forklift, assist with packing and loading, perform cycle counts, and maintain a safe, organized work area while following SOPs and learning new skills in a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.
• 1+ year of warehousing work experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others.
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly.
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery.
• Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Successful forklift certification required.
• Other duties as assigned.
