Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Day Shift Warehouse Associate to handle loading, unloading, depalletizing, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and product selection when qualified.

This role requires operating MHE such as forklifts, working in freezer/cooler/dry environments, and complying with PWMs and safety rules. Training and certification on equipment are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; six months previous forklift experience required.
• Reach truck experience preferred; material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required, or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallets safely using MHE following PWMs and move between staging areas.
• Put away product using forklifts, inspect for shortages or damage, report issues.
• Replenish product to pallets/locations as directed; secure pallets with shrink wrap.
• Maintain neat, safe work areas; follow safety rules and PWMs; operate MHE safely.
