Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate for mid-shift operations in Front Royal, VA. You will build palletized orders by hand, stage them for loading, and work in freezer, cooler and dry environments with strict safety standards.

Role requires operating reach forklifts, stacking pallets, maintaining accuracy, and using Sysco PWMs and RF equipment. Prior warehouse exposure and the ability to pass a functional capacity test are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must communicate effectively with supervision, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Build less than full pallet quantity orders by hand and stage at outbound doors.
• Follow PWMs to move pallets safely between staging areas using MHE.
• Pull and put away product with a reach forklift and inspect for damages.
• Ensure pallets are secured with shrink wrap for delivery or storage.
• Operate Sysco RF equipment and locate products for order building.
• Complete forklift certification and perform PWMs safely.
