Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Food Service Associate II to join its patient food service and retail operations. You will perform duties from Food Service Associate I and handle routine food preparation, delivery, and service with emphasis on sanitation and patient satisfaction.

The role supports daily meal service, cash handling, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment; prior cashier experience is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• At least 6 months of food service experience; prior cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to organizational and department safety, sanitation, confidentiality, standards of behavior and values.
• Exhibits excellent customer service through appropriate attitude and interaction with visitors and staff.
• Forward customer suggestions to supervisors and propose new items to improve satisfaction and sales.
• Prepare or serve items per customers’ order while adhering to portion control standards.
• Receive payment for food and drinks; operate cash register and provide correct change.
