Jobot seeks a Production Supervisor – Day Shift for a food production and packaging operation in Fredericksburg, VA. The role supervises 25-50 employees, coordinates daily production orders, and ensures GMP/HACCP compliance while driving safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two years of proven production supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising employees in food production, processing, or packaging is required.
• Poultry-processing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience leading approximately 25–50 production or packaging employees.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, product-quality standards, and manufacturing safety requirements.
• Experience managing staffing, attendance, and training, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities within an assigned food-production or packaging department.
• Coordinate production-line activities to complete daily production orders.
• Lead, mentor, train, and motivate approximately 25-50 production employees.
• Maintain product-quality standards and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Monitor efficient use of employees, raw materials, equipment, and production resources.
• Track and report production yields, efficiencies, and labor utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve materials, processes, production flow, and employee performance.
• Support lean manufacturing and Total Quality Management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and other regulations.
