Job summary

Waabi seeks a Day Shift Supervisor to lead Vehicle Operators and Fleet Specialists at the Lancaster, TX terminal. You’ll manage end-to-end shift operations, coach a CDL-enabled team, enforce safety/compliance standards, and ensure timely commercial runs with the Dispatch and engineering teams.

The role requires 2+ years in fleet ops, CDL class A, knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules, and strong written communication. Flexible hours, with extended shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fleet operations, logistics, or transportation management.
• Proven leadership experience supervising shift-based teams.
• Active Class A CDL strongly preferred; knowledge of Class 8 operation is critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end shift operations for Vehicle Operators and Fleet Specialists, partnering with Dispatch to assign work and meet KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team including scheduling and performance management.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards; enforce inspections and program requirements.
• Evaluate crew performance and provide real-time coaching and corrective action.
• Own shift-to-shift handoffs and on-site escalation for issues; initiate incident response.
