Job summary

Waabi is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor at our Lancaster, TX terminal to lead Vehicle Operators and Fleet Specialists through end-to-end nightly operations. You will partner with Dispatch to assign work, execute testing missions, and meet KPIs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coach a CDL-driven team, manage fatigue and scheduling, and own the shift handoff to day shift, maintaining a clean and complete operational picture for leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fleet operations, logistics, or transportation management.
• Leadership experience supervising CDL operators or shift-based teams.
• Active Class A CDL strongly preferred; DOT/HOS knowledge.
• Experience with fleet management software and telematics.
• Experience in technical/testing environments is a strong plus.
• Strong written communication for shift records and handoffs.
• Willingness to work night shift and travel to remote sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end night shift operations for Vehicle Operators and Fleet Specialists.
• Lead and develop a team, including scheduling, time off, performance, and corrective action.
• Uphold safety and compliance standards; inspect vehicles and adherence to EIP/CVSA.
• Evaluate crew performance via observation, ride-alongs, and safety reviews.
• Manage fatigue: enforce rest periods and reassignments as needed.
• Own night-to-day shift handoffs and clear open issues and status.
