Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Final Release for the Day Shift to lead the Final Release team and ensure documentation, inspections, and release activities meet quality and regulatory standards.

You will set daily priorities, assign work, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to support on-time product release. The role requires 5+ years in regulated manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP/QMS systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulated manufacturing, quality assurance, final release, or related environment.
• Experience reviewing DHRs, batch records, or controlled documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and coach employees in a manufacturing/quality setting.
• Reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of QMS and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of the Final Release team, assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor workflow.
• Set daily objectives and communicate workload changes to the team.
• Coach team members and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate staffing based on production priorities and release requirements.
• Train staff on Final Release processes and quality systems.
• Escalate performance, resource, quality, or operational issues to Quality management as appropriate.
• Oversee the flow of records through Final Release, including DHRs, batch records, and final disposition.
• Ensure records comply with SOPs, customer requirements, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of ERP, QMS and related systems and use them effectively.
• Represent Quality/Final Release in production planning and prioritization meetings.
• Communicate release status, gaps, risks, and issues impacting schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and documentation quality, turnaround time, and execution of Final Release.
• Support implementation of process improvements and maintain operational metrics.
