Vanguard Resources, Inc. in Kansas is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a day-shift role at Olathe Medical Center. You’ll perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other system maintenance to keep hospital facilities running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Dependable, positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in construction, mechanical, electrical or plumbing is a plus.
• Commercial or facilities maintenance experience is valued.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied environments.
• Read and understand safety procedures and maintenance manuals.
• Proficient with computers and basic workplace tech.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing facility systems and equipment.
• Performing preventive and on‑demand maintenance.
• Working with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Responding to maintenance requests throughout the facility.
• Identifying problems and helping determine practical solutions.
• Ensuring equipment and facility systems meet safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Working independently while partnering with the facilities team.
