Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a 1.0 FTE Day Shift with rotation every 7th weekend. Starting pay is $27.91 per hour.

The role includes repairs, preventive maintenance, and operation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across hospital facilities. Qualifications include a two-year program in Building Utilities Maintenance or equivalent experience, and a Boiler license (Class B or higher).

Qualifications

• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Completion of two-year Building Utilities Maintenance or Facility and Service Technology program or equivalent experience required.
• Second Class B or higher Boiler's license required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs preventive maintenance tasks for hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensures operation of heating/cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Responds to Work Order Requests for medical equipment.
• Verifies operation of heating/cooling equipment via computer monitoring.
• Responsible for operation, repairs and preventative maintenance of facilities including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
• Performs corrective maintenance on general and medical equipment.
• Hours include rotating weekends and call shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
