Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety and company procedures on a Monday through Friday shift from 7am to 3:30pm, with a pay rate of $17-$18 per hour.

The ideal candidate can read, interpret manuals, and communicate effectively; bilingual is a plus. No specific education required; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe use.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
