Job summary

Cedar Springs Public Schools is hiring a Facilities Caretaker & Delivery (Day Shift) in Cedar Springs, Michigan. This full-time role covers cleaning, mail delivery, event support, and light maintenance across district buildings with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule and occasional overtime.

Starting date is immediate. Responsibilities include receiving/delivering mail, assisting with event setups, and coordinating with the Director of Facility Services.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and tracking of a large number of packages.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and support day-to-day activities across district buildings.
• Receive/deliver mail, packages, and shipments (approx. 2 hours/day).
• Assist with events and setup/tear-down.
• Communicate daily with Building Lead and Facility Services staff.
