Job summary

SCN BestCo in Mooresville, NC seeks a Distribution Supervisor to oversee the 1st shift warehouse operations, directing staff, ensuring accurate receiving, storage and shipping, and maintaining 5S and cGMP standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role travels between Mazeppa and nearby distribution centers as needed. You will hire, train and develop the team, drive safety and KPI performance, and partner with department heads to prevent delays and optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 4 years in distribution/warehouse experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of cGMP and 21 CFR.
• 5S workplace organization knowledge.
• Strong attendance and safety record.
• Proven ability to delegate and motivate teams.
• Self-motivated with urgency and prioritization.
• Results driven and quality oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Determine work procedures and schedules.
• Direct staff on care and handling of items received, stored, and shipped; equipment use and related problems.
• Assign duties and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Establish processes for designated distribution activities including receipts and shipments and perpetual inventory records.
• Maintain 5S and cGMP compliance in warehouses and equipment.
• Participate in recycling and waste disposal programs.
• Oversee all distribution inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory variances and recommend remedial actions.
• Organize and lead year-end inventory for WIP and materials.
• Collect and report KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Conduct daily/weekly meetings with department heads to prevent production bottlenecks.
